RRW Zdenia RRW-8436 is a Galas-class starship of the Romulan Republic currently assigned to Fourth Fleet's Fourth Fleet Operations under a cross-command exchange program. She is currently under the command of Commander Flavia ir-Llantrisant.
In late 2402, the Republic Navy increased its allied operations with the United Federation of Planets and seconded the Zdenia to Starfleet's Constellation Squadron. A combined crew of Republic Navy officers and Vulcan Science Academy civilians operate the ship.
As a science vessel, Zdenia has joined Constellation Squadron’s mission to investigate scientific mysteries beyond the charted edges of Federation space. Although the crew’s search for knowledge is vital, their paramount mission is to strengthen diplomatic relations between the United Federation of Planets and the Romulan Republic through both crews learning to work as one.
