The Task Force Executive Officer (TFXO) is a non-voting member of Bravo Fleet Command who supports the operations and administration of a fleet unit (Task Force). This role is established under Article III of the Bravo Fleet Charter and serves as a key support position to the Task Force Commanding Officer (TFCO).
While TFXOs may temporarily assume the responsibilities of the TFCO during a leave of absence, they do not hold voting rights during such periods. The position is designed to provide practical experience and mentorship, with the expectation that the TFXO may advance to TFCO when appropriate.
General Duties
- Supporting the TFCO in the operation of a Bravo Fleet Task Force.
- Performing regular administrative tasks, including maintaining a roster of active members.
- Contributing to Task Force projects and engagement strategies during fleet events.
- Encouraging activity and participation in the Task Force Discord lounge.
- Mentoring junior members and guiding them through their Bravo Fleet journey.
- Temporarily deputising the TFCO during leaves of absence.
- Leading by example during fleet-wide events by achieving high participation rates.
Specific Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Maintain and update the Task Force roster.
- Assist with tracking member activity and engagement.
- Help prepare reports and updates as needed.
Community Engagement
- Actively participate in the Task Force Discord lounge.
- Promote events and initiatives to encourage member involvement.
- Serve as a role model for participation and enthusiasm.
Mentorship & Development
- Provide guidance to new and junior members.
- Learn and practice the administrative functions of the Task Force.
- Prepare for potential advancement to TFCO through mentorship and experience.
In Character Role
In character, the TFXO represents a senior officer within Starfleet who assists the TFCO in managing the personnel and operations of a Task Force. They are the second-in-command of the task force, operating out of the Task Force headquarters, and are responsible for maintaining morale, discipline, and operational continuity.
