Task Group Commanding Officers

The Task Group Commanding Officer (TGCO) is a member of the Bravo Fleet Operations Office assigned to support member engagement and activity within a Task Force. TGCOs focus on fostering community interaction in the Bravo Fleet Discord, particularly within the Task Force Lounge, and contribute to the overall health and vibrancy of the Task Force.

TGCOs operate under the direction of the Task Force Commanding Officer (TFCO) and Task Force Executive Officer (TFXO). While they may assist with broader fleet initiatives, TGCOs are not expected to assume additional staff responsibilities unless explicitly directed by the Bravo Fleet Operations Officer.

General Duties

Supporting the TFCO and TFXO in the operation of a Bravo Fleet Task Force.
Promoting activity and engagement within the Task Force Discord Lounge.
Translating strategic plans into actionable engagement efforts.
Sustaining and amplifying discussions across the Bravo Fleet Discord.
Reporting member developments, goals, and challenges to Task Force Senior Staff.
Contributing to the planning and execution of Task Force initiatives.
Leading by example during fleet-wide events by achieving mid-to-high participation rates.

Specific Duties

Fostering Engagement

Actively contribute to the Task Force Lounge as a motivational presence.
Run regular activities and events to promote member interaction.
Encourage participation and build camaraderie among members.
Develop and maintain an esprit de corps within the Task Force.

Strategic Implementation

Translate strategic goals formed with the Task Force and Operations Team into engagement efforts.
Support fleet-wide initiatives and events as directed by Task Force Senior Staff.

Communication & Reporting

Maintain active dialogue with both staff and general membership.
Monitor and report on member progress, struggles, and achievements.
Assist in identifying opportunities for recognition and advancement.

Limitations

TGCOs are not expected to:

Serve as acting TFXO during a leave of absence.
Undergo training for additional staff roles unless explicitly required and approved by the Bravo Fleet Operations Officer.

In Character Role

In character, the TGCO may be portrayed as a mid-level officer responsible for the coordination and morale of a specific task group within a Task Force. They act as a liaison between the Task Force command and individual members, helping to ensure operational readiness and cohesion.
